4th Grade State Research 4th grade students completed brief state research projects. They were able to use a variety of resources to learn about the state, create their own map, label important features (lakes, rivers, mountains, etc.), and write a summary of facts the found while completing the projects. Pepper Plants As part of our first science unit, we reviewed the parts of a plant. I pulled a pepper plant out of my garden for students to study, draw, paint, and label. This link will allow you to see some of the students' water color projects.

Our Class Pets! Thanks to a J.J. Hill family, we have 2 new gerbils in our room. The gerbils were donated along with the cage, food, and other things gerbils need.
